1. THE ALIGNMENT PROCESS

The Alignment Process is a 4 hour session ( 2 hours x 2 ) where your coach will ask you lots of questions about your current reality and the life / business that your aspire to have.

This will enable your coach to obtain a clearer understanding of what you are hoping to achieve from the coaching program and clarify how you can work together to align your business to achieve your life objectives.

The process will uncover any problems or frustrations that you may currently be experiencing and create an extensive list of focus priorities which will be categorised into 6 key areas:

  • Strategy and Direction
    Establish the uniqueness of the business to eliminate competition, identify your target market prospects who value this uniqueness; have the right products; right team; right structure. Get leverage through people, systems, technology and finance; have 1, 2 and 5 year objectives which are transparent and accountable.
  • Finance and Administration
    Know the 8 key numbers in your business which help you drive the business forward; orient the business to have these numbers immediately at hand to inform decisions; eliminate aged debtors; grow from a position of ALWAYS covering costs, (and sleep like a baby)!
  • Operations
    Systemise to achieve “best practice” at all times by all employees. Reduce waste, focus on profitable activity, reduce to increase, simplify the complex. Most Business owners are “technicians” and are very competent in Operations (which is a challenge in itself).
  • Team
    Recruit, induct, train, and empower the right employees and have a simple process for the wrong employees to de-select from working for you. Have a team that drives the business forward when you are not there!
  • Sales and Marketing
    The fun part! Build a marketing engine that identifies qualified prospects; create a simple 7 touch sales process of common agreement that is used by all employees not just salespeople; work with “A” class customers who choose you over your competition even though you are more expensive; position value over price; sell more to less clients (same business profit) which frees up time to find more “A’s”
  • Personal
    Create a business that gives you MORE life not less; schedule and be accountable to your coach to have more time for recreation, family and holidays….because being in Business should give you MORE life, not less.

2. THE 90 DAY PLAN

With so much to work on, where do you start? Your “90 Day Plan” will be your first “homework” activity and help prioritise what is important during the coaching program.

3. WORK “ON” THE BUSINESS 4 HOURS PER WEEK

Having a plan is great, but results require focused action. Your coach will help you be accountable for working “ON” the business and implementing strategies and building core competencies. The speed of your results and will usually depend on your commitment to do the work.

4. WEEKLY MEETINGS

Transparency and accountability are often the missing link to success. As a business owner, who else do you have in your world who can fulfill this function? Your coach will be your proactive advisor and confidant as you work together achieving objectives and solve issues, celebrating the wins and minimising the challenges on the journey of success.
